Travelling west from Dumfries to Stranraer along the A75 take the first turning right into Glenluce at the top of the village.
After 0.28 miles turn right, before you reach the village.
After another 0.50 miles turn left towards Carscreugh, otherwise a gate may stop your forward progress.
You will find the site less than a mile down the road, through an old railway embankment and over a cattle grill. Please be careful of any lambs, especially in the spring time. Turn right into the car park shown in the photo below..
